Welcome to Fadó & Tide, a place where rich Irish heritage meets Yorkshire warmth, set against the stunning backdrop Filey Bay. Our name, meaning "long ago and still today," reflects our love for timeless traditions, quality ingredients, and great hospitality.

At Fadó & Tide, mornings are sacred. We start the day with breakfast and brunch, serving comforting dishes made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re after a classic cooked breakfast, something light and fresh, our menu is designed for slow mornings and seaside strolls.

Alongside our food, we serve a carefully selected range of hot drinks, from Speciality Coffee from North Star to warming teas and indulgent hot chocolate. Whether you're after a strong morning pick-me-up or a moment of comfort with a perfectly made brew, there’s something for everyone.

As the day unfolds, we transition into a laid-back bar, serving a thoughtfully curated selection of beers, premium spirits, and signature cocktails. Whether you’re winding down with a refreshing G&T, enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness, or savouring a carefully selected whiskey, our drinks are all about quality, character, and great company.

Looking for the perfect seaside escape? Our two charming apartments sit directly above Fadó & Tide, offering the ideal base for a quick getaway or a longer coastal retreat. With the beach just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy everything Filey has to offer – from sea swims and sandy strolls to evenings filled with food, music, and great company downstairs.

A cosy and stylish two-bedroom apartment, Apartment Fadó is perfect for couples or small families. Each bedroom features a plush king-size bed, and there’s a welcoming living room and compact kitchenette to relax and unwind after a day at the beach.

Apartment Tide offers a little more room to spread out. It features a spacious king bedroom, a separate ante room with bunk beds (perfect for the little ones), a generous kitchen for home-cooked meals, and a comfortable living room with a sofa bed – ideal for families or small groups.
